I see land

It was sunrise, I saw the dawn of my days in time. I was engulfed in the rays of timeless joy. Oh Boy! What a sight of the effulgent light. Bring on the storm, throw in some thunder. Deep down under, I will still be warm and giving. Oh Dear! What a sight, it’s such a kaleidoscopic night. The stars are aligned, to tell a story to unwind the souls of the angels. Here’s to the journey, of the unknown, together or alone, this baby won’t sink, into the heart of the ocean. Life is precious and here I am, singing, dancing, and loving it with all my heart. Menacing, yet meandering, the depths, I find the way, and it finds beauty. Through your lens, I see the hand that’s steering me to destiny. I see the sea understands, the struggle of a broken heart, I can now clearly see the seagulls, singing to the beat of my pulse. It’s the land, of spirits, of surreal souls, I see it all. I see land.

Not my best friend

Dear Bangalore, I don’t think I like you anymore I hoped you would embrace me, tightly in your arms, but you suffocated me to the core. Oh Bangalore! I don’t like you anymore. I thought you’d let me breathe! I hoped you would make me feel at home, at my home, but you left me alone at my door. Oh Bangalore! I don’t like you anymore. I thought you’d be by my side, In my good times and bad, but it was my bad I didn’t know you kept scores, Oh Bangalore! I don’t like you anymore. (to which, Bangalore says -) Dear Ameet, I don’t think I like you anyway, You came here as a guest, and you left one fine day, Oh Ameet! I don’t like you anyway! You thought you’re special, but there are millions like you, who are here to stay, Go away Ameet, I don’t like you anyway! You felt I’d hug you and welcome you home, Didn’t you know? You were living in an ashtray! Hey Ameet! I don’t like you anyway! No Gods can save us from going...
